Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often from clients and partners in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial engineering sectors.
We provide multidisciplinary engineering across all the core disciplines required for oil & gas and petrochemical projects. This includes mechanical engineering for static and rotating equipment, piping and pipeline engineering (stress analysis, isometrics, routing), civil and structural engineering for equipment foundations and steel structures, electrical and instrumentation engineering, and process engineering support including PFD and P&ID development.
All engineering deliverables are produced in compliance with applicable international standards — ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API 650, API 620, ISO standards, and relevant DIN norms depending on the project jurisdiction and client requirements. Our engineers are experienced in both onshore and offshore environments, and in greenfield, brownfield, and revamp project contexts.
Yes — EPC project management is one of our core service areas. We provide dedicated project management resources for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors. This includes project managers, construction supervisors, discipline leads, cost engineers, and document control personnel.
Our EPC project management services cover the full project lifecycle: from project setup, baseline schedule development, and contractor mobilisation through to construction supervision, cost control, risk management, quality assurance, and HSE compliance. We embed our teams within client and contractor organisations to ensure real accountability — not just reporting.
We have experience managing complex, multi-contractor EPC projects across refining, pipeline, processing, and industrial manufacturing environments.
Yes. Primavera P6 is our standard planning tool for industrial and energy projects, and it is the industry benchmark for complex engineering and construction project scheduling. Our planning team builds fully logic-linked, resource-loaded project schedules that give clients and project teams a reliable foundation for execution and performance measurement.
Our Primavera P6 services include baseline schedule development, progress measurement and earned value analysis, schedule risk analysis, monthly and weekly reporting, look-ahead programme management, and shutdown and turnaround planning. We also provide delay analysis services for projects that have experienced schedule slippage — preparing forensic schedule analyses that identify root causes and support contract management processes.
All our schedules are built to be working management tools, not documents that sit in a project management plan and are never opened again.
Health, safety, and environmental compliance is not an administrative function for us — it is a fundamental part of how we plan and execute project work. We approach HSE as an integrated engineering and project management discipline, not a checklist to be completed at the start and end of a job.
On site, our teams develop project-specific HSE plans, conduct toolbox talks and safety audits, manage permit-to-work systems, and ensure that all personnel operating on site are working in full compliance with applicable regulations, client safety management systems, and international standards including ISO 45001.
For engineering deliverables, our teams incorporate safety considerations from the earliest design stages — through process hazard analysis (HAZOP/HAZID), safety in design reviews, and compliance with applicable process safety standards. We believe that a safe project is a successful project, and that HSE performance and technical performance are not in conflict.
Shutdown and turnaround planning is a specialist area where we have significant experience. Industrial shutdowns and turnarounds are among the most time-critical and cost-sensitive project activities in the energy sector — every hour of unplanned additional downtime has a direct financial impact, and overruns are rarely recoverable.
We develop detailed shutdown and turnaround plans using Primavera P6, including hour-by-hour execution schedules, critical path analysis, resource histograms, and interface coordination between maintenance, construction, and inspection workstreams. We work closely with operations and maintenance teams to understand facility-specific constraints and build plans that reflect how work will actually be executed.
Our turnaround planning services cover pre-shutdown preparation, scope freeze and job card development, execution scheduling, daily progress tracking, and post-turnaround reporting and lessons-learned documentation.
Renewable Green Energy is headquartered in Germany. As a Germany-based engineering firm operating within the European Union, we work to German and European engineering quality standards — which are recognised internationally as a mark of technical rigour and professional reliability.
We are active on projects across international markets, including the Middle East, North Africa, and broader European industrial sectors. Our engineering and project management teams are experienced in working within international project environments — adapting to client-specific project management systems, international contract frameworks (FIDIC, NEC), and multilingual project documentation requirements.
Whether your project is based in Europe or in an international location, we are set up to provide effective remote and on-site engineering and project management support.
